The Kumari Project
The Kumari Project is a non-profit organization founded by a woman, herself a Nepalese orphan, and her adoptive American mother to provide the support needed for those most vulnerable after witnessing the lack of resources and corruption occurring in many of the orphanages in Nepal. Their operation relies on building a donor base, comprising of a mix of individual and corporate sponsors. Their grassroots efforts continue to provide housing and education for the 12 Nepalese orphans in their care.
