The Kumari Project
The Kumari Project is a non-profit organization founded by a woman, herself a Nepalese orphan, and her adoptive American mother to provide the support needed for those most vulnerable after witnessing the lack of resources and corruption occurring in many of the orphanages in Nepal. Their operation relies on building a donor base, comprising of a mix of individual and corporate sponsors. Their grassroots efforts continue to provide housing and education for the 12 Nepalese orphans in their care.
Design
The final design focuses on communicating the organization's mission and story through a voice of optimism, inspiration, and thoughtfulness. A more polished presentation authenticates their efforts, while maintaining a friendly and trustworthy appearance. I was able to blend new colors and custom icons (with nods to their logo) with their existing brand elements, ensuring it will still be recognizable to their established donors. These new elements create more opportunities for branding for future events or newsletter updates.
